Her acting journey began at the age of four with the movie ‘Thunaivan’.

Originally named Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan, she was known to the world as Sridevi.

Sridevi gained the prestigious title of being the first female superstar and the highest-paid Indian actress from 1985–1992.

Despite an offer for a role in ‘Jurassic Park’ in 1993, she gracefully declined, feeling it wasn’t right for her.
