Arun Yogiraj is a famous 40-year-old sculptor from Mysore, and his family has been carving sculptures for five generations.
Arun, married to Vijetha Mohan. His father, Yogiraj, and grandfather, Basavanna Shilpi, were skilled sculptors.
Despite getting an MBA and working for a company, Arun couldn't resist his sculpting skills and resumed carving in 2008.

A 12-foot statue of Adi Shankaracharya in Kedarnath and a 21-foot-tall Lord Hanuman statue in Mysore.
He got awards like the South Zone Young Talented Artist in 2014 and the Nalwadi Award in 2020.
Arun received personal appreciation from Kofi Annan, the former Secretary-General of the United Nations Organisation, during a workshop visit.
Yogiraj says "I feel I am the luckiest person on the earth now. The blessing of my ancestors, family members and Lord Ram Lalla has always been with me. Sometimes I feel like I am in a dream world"
