Arun Yogiraj A Fifth-Generation Sculptor

Arun Yogiraj is a famous 40-year-old sculptor from Mysore, and his family has been carving sculptures for five generations.

Arun, married to Vijetha Mohan. His father, Yogiraj, and grandfather, Basavanna Shilpi, were skilled sculptors.

Despite getting an MBA and working for a company, Arun couldn't resist his sculpting skills and resumed carving in 2008.

Arun was chosen among three sculptors to carve the 'Ram Lalla' idol for the Ayodhya temple

He got awards like the South Zone Young Talented Artist in 2014 and the Nalwadi Award in 2020.
