Currently ranked 11th globally and holds the top position in India.

Notably defeated world champion Ding Liren in the Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2024.

Surpassed Vishwanathan Anand, claiming the title of India's No. 1 chess player.

He received the Arjuna Award in 2022 for his achievements.
