Radhika Merchant is the daughter of Shaila and Viren Merchant, the founder of Encore Healthcare.
She was born in 1994 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and hails from a Gujarati Hindu family.
She received her education at Mumbai's Cathedral and John Connon Schools, as well as Ecole Mondiale World School.
She obtained an International Baccalaureate diploma from BD Somani International School. Subsequently, she moved to New York to pursue studies at New York University's School of Political Science and Economics.
Following the completion of her diploma, Radhika returned to India. She undertook a three-month internship with Cedar Consultants in Mumbai, serving as a business strategy consultant from June to August 2016.
She then served as a sales professional at the prestigious firm Desai and Dewanji.
Later, she joined India First, where she held roles as a business consultant, sales executive, and real estate manager across different companies.
Radhika, who showcased her talent at an Arangetram ceremony in May 2022, has dedicated eight years to practicing Indian classical dance. Under the guidance of Guru Bhavana Thakar from the Mumbai-based dance academy Shree Nibha Arts, she specialized in Bharatanatyam.
Radhika is currently a director on the Board of Encore Healthcare.
