Khajrana Ganesh Temple, located in the Khajrana locality of Indore and constructed by Rani Ahilyabai Holkar, stands as a famous Hindu temple in India. It is believed that the idol was initially hidden in a well to protect it from Aurangzeb and retrieved in 1735, leading to the establishment of the temple by Ahilyabai Holkar. Managed by the Bhatt family, the temple has grown from a modest dwelling to a revered city shrine. Noteworthy features include silver gates, walls depicting various festivals, and diamond eyes donated by a generous businessman. Pitra Parvat is a special place for people who love Lord Hanuman. Unlike the usual standing pose, here you’ll find a unique sight: a meditating Lord Hanuman with a Golden Gada by his side. It’s a rare sight, drawing many visitors. On Pitra Parvat, there are two Lord Hanuman deities: one for tourism and another for worship. The main attraction is a huge, 71-foot-long golden sculpture that took 125 workers seven years to make. It looks beautiful in the sun and peaceful in the moonlight. Below the big sculpture, there’s a temple with the deity of Lord Hanuman for people to worship. Pitra Parvat not only offers a peaceful place to pray but also a great view of the city. You can visit in the evening on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays to see a laser light show. The place is also special because people can plant trees here in memory of their loved ones. Situated on a hill, the temple provides a breathtaking view of the city and the airport. Surrounding the temple are snack centers, a beautiful garden, and toy shops for children. During Navratri, a fair is organized for nine days, bringing joy to the devotees. Bada Ganapati Temple

The Bada Ganapati Temple, located in the Malharganj locality of Indore, is a special place dedicated to Lord Ganesha. It got its name because it houses one of the world’s largest Lord Ganesha idols at 25 feet. Built by Pandit Narayan Dadhich in 1875, the idol is made of a unique mix of materials, including limestone, jaggery, sand, clay, gold, silver, and more. The soil used came from seven holy cities, which are Dwarka, Varanasi, Mathura, Ayodhya, Maya, Kanchi, and Avantika. The idol rests on a 4-foot-high platform, and it took three years to build. Devotees from around the world visit Indore to see this extraordinary idol, adorned with frames made of gold, silver, copper, brass, and iron.
Ranjeet Hanuman Temple

The Ranjeet Hanuman Temple in Gumasta Nagar, Indore, has been bringing blessings of victory to devotees for 130 years. What makes this temple special is that Lord Hanuman is seen here with a shield and sword, a unique sight believed to be the only one of its kind in the world. The idol also includes Ahiravana at Lord Hanuman’s feet. The exact details of when the idol was established are not clear. The grand Prabhat Pheri on Ranjeet Ashtami is a significant event, drawing over a lakh devotees. The procession passes through various parts of the city before returning to the temple premises. Local devotees, as well as sages and saints, join in. Before this, a Deepotsav, or festival of lights, is organized.
