Rajwada Palace, situated near the renowned Khajuri Market in Indore, is a historic gem constructed over 200 years ago by the Holkars. This big palace has seven floors and looks amazing. It’s in the middle of the city and has a nice garden with a sculpture of Queen Ahilya Bai Holkar, a waterfall, and fountains. It serves as a prime example of the city’s heritage and remains a top tourist spot. The palace has faced three fires in its history, with the last in 1984 causing significant damage. Despite setbacks, now, after renovations, it’s partly like it used to be. The palace has a rectangular shape with round parts on the corners.

Kamla Nehru Prani Sangrahalaya, commonly known as Indore Zoo, is a significant zoological garden near the Central Museum in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Constructed by Maharaja Shivaji Rao Holkar in 1886 and completed by his successor Tukoji Rao Holkar in 1921, the palace served as the residence of the ruling Holkar dynasty until 1978.
