The plan for the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is all set. From January 15 to January 22, there will be lots of ceremonies. An eco-friendly golf cart service has been introduced in Ayodhya before the Ram temple’s consecration ceremony on January 22. The aim is to offer zero carbon-emission transportation in the city. The Ayodhya Development Authority is planning this initiative. Initially, they’ve launched 15 four-seater electric vehicles, giving priority to Indian-made cars under the ‘Make in India’ initiative. Additionally, there’s a six-passenger e-cart service helping elderly devotees visit various pilgrimage sites in Ayodhya.
Deployment of Zero-Emission Vehicles
To facilitate this, they’re aiming to deploy 200 zero-emission vehicles. One such service, ‘My EV Plus,’ by Passion International Private Limited, will start at Ayodhya airport on January 6. This service focuses on safe and convenient travel using Google Location and Maps. ADA also operates a transport service between Lucknow and Ayodhya in partnership with a private entity. For trips between Lucknow and Ayodhya, passengers will pay Rs 3000 one way. Within Ayodhya, fares range from Rs 250 for 0-10 km to Rs 999 for 30-40 km journeys.
